Energy Lab
Responsible: Dr. Enrique Quiroga González

In this laboratory, materials for energy conversion and storage are synthesized. Of particular relevance are the activities related to the fabrication and testing of Li ion batteries. Additionally, basic microelectronic and sensing devices are developed. Here, you can find a list of publications of the lab, about those reaserch fields:

On the other hand, chemical and electrochemical etching of semiconductors are routinelly performed in this lab, to produce micro- and nano-structures. Here, you can find our latest paper, as example of the work on micromachining:

This lab counts with the infrastructure of a chemistry lab, but with equipment for solvothermal synthesis, spray pyrolisis, chemical vapor deposition (CVD), chemical bath deposition, coloidal synthesis, spin coating, doctor blade, and electrochemical deposition.
