Recent trend in the development and application of nanomaterials envisage well its importance in tomorrow's world. The main purpose of this workshop is to bring the Mexican researchers and technologists together to discuss their recent results and to establish mutual collaborations in order to short-out the problems and develop nanotechnology in Mexico . The courses and invited lectures will be presented by eminent personalities and have the intention to stimulate young Mexican researchers and post-graduate students working in the field of nanostructured materials.
