DESCRIPTION

This module writes a 2D lattice to a file in one of several image formats. Supported formats are SGI (.rgb format), FIT (SGI tiled TIFF), and TIFF.

Note that the SGI format is only available for byte and short lattices. Other types will be written out as short.
