INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL AND WORKSHOP
"Advanced Computational and Experimental Techniques in Nonlinear Dynamics"

This two-week event consists of a School and a Workshop, held within a collaboration between the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla, BUAP(Puebla, México), the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú, PUCP (Lima, Perú) and the Universidad Nacional de San Antonio Abad del Cusco, UNSAAC (Cusco, Perú). Week 1 is devoted to short-courses on topics in the theory and numerics of dynamical systems, with emphasis on applications in physics. It is aimed at advanced graduate students and interested scientists in preparation for the workshop. Week 2 is a workshop for physicists, engineers, and applied mathematicians interested in nonlinear dynamics, and especially those with expertise in computational methods and experimental nonlinear physics. Lectures will be expository and focussed, aimed at an interdisciplinary audience. |
