MR fluid
ER and MR fluids , These kind of systems are dispersions of microparticles in inert oils. The characteristic property of these complex fluids is that they change their mechanical properties in the presence of an external electric or magnetic field. This is dueto the pattern formation by the suspended particles. We study these pattern formation with relation to the aggregation processes and the physical properties of these fluids.

Aggregation processes are the bases of the formation of many classes of condensedmatter systems. The interactions intensity determines the characteristicsof the aggregation processes and these in turn determine the macroscopicphysical properties of these systems.

Complexsystems exhibit fractal clustering. Symmetries, scales, and scaling properties define the elements of  these hierarchical structures.

Gels are materials product of polymerization processes. The conditions in which the aggregation processes develop determine theporous characteristics of these materials.  Long time aggregationphenomena are one of the most interesting aspects of these complex systems.
