How to get to Puebla City from Mexico City (CDMX) International Airport Benito Juárez

Reaching Puebla is extremely easy, since there is a direct bus from Mexico City airport (~25 USD, two hours ride).

From Mexico City International Airport (MEX) to Puebla City there are bus services by "Estrella Roja" and “ADO”. The former with more raids than the latter. Once at MEX follow the "Autobuses Foraneos" signs. The bus station in Terminal 1 is located near the fast food court. The bus station in Terminal 2 is located near gate D, between entrance 4 and the domestic arrivals exit point. You can buy bus tickets in kiosks located close to the bus departing place. They cost ~500 Mexican pesos one way (25 USD or 23 EUR approx.). Note that the provided price can be updated. The ride takes about 2 hours.

Buses arrive to Puebla City at the bus station "Paseo Destino". You can check schedules here or here. There is a service of "authorized taxis" and taxi tickets are sold in a desk that can be easily located inside the building. Rates are fixed. An alternative option for local mobility is Uber.

How to get to Puebla City from Puebla International Airport

Puebla International Airport (PBC) is located 25km from Puebla City. It is a small airport with a few arrival/departing flights mainly from/to:

- Cancun (CUN), Guadalajara (GDL), Tijuana (TIJ); operated by Volaris.
- Houston (IAH); operated by United Airlines.
- Dallas (DFW); operated by American Airlines.

There are authorized taxis to get to Puebla City. Fares are about 600 pesos, one way (30 USD approx.). Uber is not an option in this case.
