Advanced Solid State Physics

Syllabus (PDF, Spanish)
This course corresponds to the MSc and PhD Physics and Materials Science Programs at the Institute of Physics (IFUAP), and it provides further and more specialized theoretical concepts and topics on the Solid State Physics subject. Technical knowledge in speficic topics like chemical bonding, thermal properties and phonons, free-electron gas, electron in a periodic potential well, crystalline and band structure is required.
